Good Measure began with our shared love of creating, collecting, and crafting. We've always found beauty in vintage treasures, and we wanted to establish a space where women could come together and find community through creativity. We want our friends to feel welcome, to walk away with a new skill, and to be proud of what they've made.

 

As mother and daughter we have always found crafting to be a bit of an escape from everyday life. There's something about slowing down, and creating something with your own hands that we find incredibly therapeutic. We especially love all things vintage. We want to incorporate old, beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces, and give them a second life by creating something brand new with them.

We strive to create a space where there's no pressure to be perfect or "good at crafting." We wish for everyone to walk in the door with an open mind, and leave feeling refreshed, with a new crew of friends, and a beautiful handmade craft in hand. We love Conroe, and we felt a need to create something that was missing -- a space for women to gather, get creative, and learn new skills. Our hope is that every woman that comes to Good Measure will slow down for a little, create at your own pace, and leave feeling like you've found a place where you belong.
